As a dynamic body of believers, we are dedicated to fostering a biblical-based community that seeks to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ. In the heart of Missouri City, TX, we stand committed to witnessing and spreading the transformative teachings of Jesus Christ. Our purpose goes beyond the walls of our church; it resonates in the very fabric of our community. Through outreach and genuine connection, we strive to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to every corner of Missouri City through our mission of Reaching A Soul, Saving a Family, and Building a Community.
What to expect
Welcome to Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Ministries, a vibrant and spirited community nestled in the heart of Missouri City, Texas, since 2019. We are a Holy Ghost filled body of sabbath keepers who believe in the five-fold ministry and believing whole heartedly in baptizing in Jesus' name.

Chief Apostle Dr. David L. Roper
Founder and Overseer of Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Ministries
Apostle Dr. David L. Roper, strongly devoted to guiding believers into the Kingdom of Heaven, faced trials after military service at 21. Serving at The Church of Jesus Christ House Of Prayer, he became Bishop in 2004 and founded Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Ministries Inc. in Houston. Renaming and relocating to Missouri City in 2019, the campus includes a two-story sanctuary, fellowship hall, classrooms, offices, and daycare. Ordained as an Apostle in 2015, he earned a Bachelor of Theology and a Doctorate in Ministry. Committed to acquiring laborers for the Kingdom, Apostle Roper continues for God's glory.
Mother Shari L. Roper
Co-Founder & First Lady of Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Ministries
Mother Shari L. Roper, First Lady and Church Mother of Solid Rock, exemplifies timeless servitude, meekness, and faithfulness in her Christian journey. From childhood to adulthood, she served at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. In 1988, she moved to Washington, D.C., engaging in church activities. Returning to Jasper in 1999, she had a transformative experience at Church of Jesus Christ House of Prayer, marrying Bishop David L. Roper in 2002. Co-founder of Solid Rock, she plays a crucial role in the ministry, fostering praise and ministry through dance. Mother Roper, a Proverbs 31 woman, imparts godly wisdom and teaches women at Solid Rock to be Holy, God-fearing daughters, submissive wives, and great mothers. A mother of seven and grandmother of nine, she aspires to be an author and enhance her role as a spiritual and natural mother in the future.
Church Community
For Jesus said, "Go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.” Truly he said and blindly we follow the words of the Savior. Our church community constantly contributes to the church fund that is being risen for charity purposes. In the meantime, our group of faithful volunteers organizes fundraising events to help the poor with essentials. For we know that whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done . Beyond the walls of our sanctuary, we, at The Rock, are actively engaged in contributing to the well-being of our community. Through prayer initiatives, outreach programs, and support services, we extend our ministry's impact beyond the spiritual realm, aiming to address the diverse needs of those around us!

This past Pentecost Celebration was a beautiful reminder that there is power in the name of Jesus! We are thrilled to share that several individuals took the inspiring step of baptism, publicly declaring their commitment to follow Jesus Christ.🌊🙏This Pentecost Sunday was doubly special, as we not only rejoiced in the outpouring of the Holy Ghost but also celebrated Father's Day with heartfelt gratitude for our Father in Heaven.🕊️💖
